So I'm a tiny bit stoned right now, which never happens. I literally had half a toke. But since I rarely smoke, it's enough to get me feeling blitzed. Oh yeah also I just ran a couple miles and it's midnight. So anyways, I was hanging out with a female acquaintance. It seems like whenever I see her she wants me to buy alcohol and thinks I'm cheap because I don't like spending money on that stuff. Look. I am cheap because I have to be. Whoever in this day and age does not want to get in debt and be a wage slave has to be frugal. If I don't even spend money on new shoes why should I buy you a bottle of wine? Why should I even contribute to your alcoholism? Come to think of it, if you wanted me to buy you some carrot juice, I might have said yes.
To be perfectly honest, if I'm not dating some chick she shouldn't be asking me for favors period. This kind of attitude makes me very pissed. She said "would you spend money on me if you had a million dollars?" I was honestly thinking, "well, I would have, before you said that." She said, "If you ever became famous you probably wouldn't hang out with me." That is also a bunch of bullshit! But come to think of it, if you act like that, I probably wouldn't.
People draw toward themselves energies that are similar. If you're going to be shallow and insecure, no I won't hang out with you if I'm succeeding, because I don't want you to bring me down. So you better change your evil ways, baby. If you're reading this, I can't apologize. I'm only being honest.

1 awesome thing every day.
What if you did one awesome thing every day? But not something easy. Something you've been scared to do. Here's some ideas.
1) Have a conversation with someone of the opposite sex. Hold eye contact. Convey attraction without neediness. Don't worry if the person is into you or not.
2) Take a beginning salsa class. Go alone, no one has to know.
3) Have an internet fast. Write your thoughts in a journal instead. Just for one day.
4)Start a soccer game with a group of friends.
5)Go surfing. If you don't have a board, buy one for cheap or rent one. Don't be afraid to take a lesson, they help.
6) Buy a bunch of juice and just drink juice for most of the day.
7) Go on a really long hike alone.
8) Buy a day pass for public transit and check out all the areas you've been curious about.
9)Go to Barnes and Noble, select a book you've always wanted to read, and don't leave until you've read it.
10) Buy an album that you love but haven't listened to in years. Listen to the whole thing.
11) Do more pushups than you've ever done in one hour.
12) Ride a horse.

Why I take the stairs.
I take metro quite often. You can take the stairs, or the escalator. I usually opt for the stairs. Here's why you should too:
1) Not as many people in the way.
Even though I have to gallop harder to get up the stairs, there aren't as many people in the way so I can actually go faster.
2)It's a better workout. In the city where I live, people often drive to places to work out. So why would I forgo the gift of a workout that is laid out in front of me?
3) It makes me feel like Rocky Balboa in the workout scene.
